This differs from the lakh/crore system used for currencies like the Indian Rupee.
Zloty and Groszy in Words
The whole-number part of an amount is spelled out and paired with the major unit — Zloty for exactly one, or Zloty otherwise. The decimal part (if any) is converted the same way and paired with the minor unit — Grosz for exactly one, or Groszy otherwise.
